About Top City Cheer

Athletes from 1st to 12th grade are invited to be a part of this great opportunity that allows athletes to improve on and showcase their skills.

Day 1: Participants will interact with collegiate/ professional athletes and coaches to help improve and optimize their skills. Athletes will also learn choreography taught by our guest instructor.

Day 2: Athletes are welcome back to try out for the El Paso Top City Cheer Showcase Team and receive specialty awards. The tryout process will include stunting, tumbling, jumping, and performing the choreography taught on Day 1.

**Please note that the selected Showcase Team is not meant to interfere or conflict with the athlete’s respective year-round team duties and responsibilities. Our goal is to highlight the top athletes in cheer and allow them to make special appearances and performances throughout the season. All events and participation for the Showcase Team are optional and not meant to take precedence over their year-round teams.

Message from Payton Sykes:

“I have been cheering for 12 years. I started cheering when I was 11 years old, and ever since my passion for this sport has kept growing and growing. I have cheered at many good programs and have accomplished a lot of my goals such as being a Grand World Champion, 2x silver, and 1x bronze medalist, performing on America’s Got Talent, and being seen on Netflix “Cheer”. I plan for my passion to keep growing and I am very excited to get to work with you all.”
